Important Notes: 

 

1. Splashball and Water Polo 101 practices are beginning again this week! Practices will be at Estancia HS on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 PM. See ‘Splashball & Water Polo 101’ section down below for more details. 

2. 16u/18u Boys: No practice on Wednesday night.

Splashball & Water Polo 101:

 

Splashball:

Ages: 5-10 years old 

Kids must know how to swim in order to participate. 

Splashball is a fun and friendly introduction to the sport of water polo!

During practices we work on skills such as head-up freestyle swimming, eggbeater, passing the ball, and more! 

All kids will be provided a float-belt for practice in order to help them swim and keep them safe.

 

 

Water Polo 101:

Ages: 8-14 years old

Kids must know how to swim in order to participate.

Water Polo 101 practices provide kids with the opportunity to develop various water polo related swim techniques and other skills such as eggbeater and ball control.

This practice group is geared more towards older, beginner level kids, those who have graduated up from Splashball, and those looking to join an age-group team, but need some help with basic skills first. 

Kids aged 14 & under who are brand new to the sport of water polo are highly encouraged to attend Water Polo 101 practices first to be evaluated by one of our coaches before going to age-group practices.
